How to Choose a Dog Boarding Kennel
Choosing a boarding kennel for your dog involves more than comparing prices. Check the location, boarding conditions and how the team will learn about your dog’s habits. Dog Attitude welcomes dogs in Mougins (06250), by appointment only.
Speak with the team before the stay
Tell the team about your dog’s routines, food, medication, sociability, and any reactivity, escape attempts or destructive behaviour. This information helps assess the appropriate boarding option and conditions. A pre-booking is a request; it does not confirm the stay by itself.
At drop-off, complete the paperwork first at the reception office without your dog. Once the paperwork is done, drive down following the route indicated by the team. At the bottom, turn around and meet the animal carer responsible for your dog’s area. Introduce your dog, share your recommendations verbally and hand over their belongings. This conversation complements the written information and lets you check important instructions together.
Compare the boarding options and facilities

Prepare your dog’s health information and routine
Vaccinations against CHPPIL diseases and kennel cough must be up to date. Proof of vaccination must be sent at least 8 days before arrival, and the original health record must be brought on the day. You may bring your dog’s usual food and specify quantities and feeding times. Tell the team about any medication before the stay and prepare each dose in a pill organiser, which is required. A vet is about 1 km from the boarding facility.
